here's a trick i was taught by a Naval cook at my hostel :). hold your kitchen knife vertically over wherever you want the lemon juice to drop. take one half of the sliced lemon and put it to the sharp side of that knife. then squeeze it while rolling it around that sharp end simultaneously. helps immensely in getting the most out of the lemon.
